Surgery Suite
Procedures that require general anesthesia, such as colic surgery, are performed here. A motorized ceiling-mounted hoist and rail system allows safe transport of anesthetized horses from the induction room, to the surgery table, to the recovery room. We monitor the horse's blood pressure, EKG, and blood gases during surgery.
